This is a horrible plan. It is my belief that one of the main problems with healthcare in this country is how we deliver the insurance. What we need to do is take the delivery vehicle away from employer based plans because of the way they are structured. Mainly they base their premiums on the number of people working for that employer and base their risk on that for premiums. For instance, if you have 500 people working for you then you can negotiate fairly good insurance for cheap. But, if you have 10 people working for you you may as well forget providing coverage for your employees. The system is bad and none of these guys want to fix it.

What needs to be done is to make health insurance based on the auto insurance model which bases risk on an entire zip code rather than the number of employees.

Another issue is of course, tort reform, Obama is a lawyer, Hillary i a lawyer.. none of this will change until we remove lawyers from politics or at least put someone in who isn't into the lawyers for any reason.

In any case, I've had this entire issue solved many years ago.. Pete for President !!!!
