The Department of Radiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Medical Center invites applications for a clinical faculty position in Breast Imaging / Body Imaging. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities will include patient care, active participation in resident and fellowship education, and participation in clinical and/or basic research. Position includes all aspects of breast imaging and cross-sectional body imaging.
The breast division is responsible for approximately 15,000 screenings, 3,600 Breast US, 200 Needle Localizations, 300 Stereotactic Biopsies, 800 Ultrasound biopsies, 330 MRI's, 7,100 Diagnostic mammograms, and 60 MRI Biopsies.
Body imaging at Columbia is responsible for approximately 8,900 CT exams, 4,100 MR exams, 23,000 ultrasound exams and 13,000 x-ray exams.
Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Candidate must be MQSA certifiable. Training and experience in specialty or subspecialty. Narcotics license desirable. Board certification is preferred.
