Heads up: RSNA Research and Education Grants opening on October 1, 2008

Online Application Process for R&E Grants Opens October 1. People interested in applying for research and education grants through the RSNA Research and Education (R&E) Foundation can begin preparing their applications online next month. We will help by posting a link when the time comes for these grants. Of particular interest to residents and fellows is the Fellowship Training Grant, which provides $50,000 in training support for young physicians in any specialty fellowship program. In addition, the Research Resident/Fellow Grant is targeted toward young investigators and helps recipients gain further insight into scientific investigation, developing competence in research techniques and methods. The grant provides $50,000 for a one-year Research Fellow project or $30,000 for a one-year Research Resident project. Funds may be used for salary support and/or non-personnel research costs. The deadline for R&E Education Grants is January 10.
