FUJIFILM Medical Systems, USA has clinched a fresh, three-year contract with Purchasing Partners LP

FUJIFILM Medical Systems, USA has clinched a fresh, three-year, dual-source contract. This contract was awarded to them by Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P for complete assortment of medical film and imagers, including mammography film, conventional wet film, dry film, and the complete set of laser imagers.

The contract comes into effect from September 1,2008. This award now combines two categories already held by Fujifilm into a single contract category. Premier, as of now has merged its conventional imaging products contract with the dry or what is also known as laser imaging products. This will enable their two thousand odd US hospitals and fifty three thousand plus member sites to reap the readily available benefits from the quality of Fujifilm products at very cost effective rates.

Fujifilm’s full line of DryPix (Proprietary Name) imagers for both decentralized and centralized environment is included in the contract, and also included is the spectrum of medical imaging films which includes double emulsion, dry thermal, dry laser, mammography and many others.

This new contract is in addition to the already existing contracts on digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) in place between Premier Purchasing Partners and Fujifilm Medical Systems.
