COURSE DESCRIPTION: CT technology has progressed rapidly in the last few years. The increased sophistication mandates use of correct protocols to get the appropriate information with least radiation. Knowledge of protocols is also essential for the correct interpretation of these scans. A radiologist who is comfortable with the various protocols and knows how to use and interpret them is held in high esteem by referring physicians. This workshop is designed to bring you to a level of comfort that you may have never felt before with the CT protocols on current machines.

PURPOSE OF WORKSHOP: After attending this workshop the attendees will be able to apply the prinicples learned to
1. Determine the best CT protocols for various indications.
2. Optimize radiology reports according to the protocols.
3. Apply the strengths of the protocols to reach the highest level of diagnostic accuracy possible for the study.
4. Apply the limitations of the protocols to make specific recommendations for further evaluation.
