Blended Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access (Online Course + Hands-On Workshop)

The Blended Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access Course includes comprehensive online lectures and extensive hands-on scanning for central and peripheral line placement. This blended ultrasound training course incorporates 8 months access to lectures in an online course format and a half day hands-on scanning workshop, featuring a 3:1 ratio with live models and inanimate phantoms.

Objectives

1. Demonstrate the participant’s knowledge to better perform ultrasound-guided vascular access procedures.
2. Demonstrate proper transducer manipulation and system optimization to produce diagnostic images.
3. Differentiate venous vs. arterial anatomy by ultrasound.
4. Demonstrate the use of ultrasound guidance for Central Line & Peripheral Line vascular access.
5. Demonstrate competence to incorporate protocols, scan techniques, and interpretation criteria to improve diagnostic/treatment accuracy.
