Description:
Abdominal CT, MRI and Ultrasound are the mainstay imaging modalities for diagnosing abdominal disease, specifically those of the gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) systems. Their widespread availability has resulted in their increased utilization. It is imperative that radiologists incorporate these technological advances into their clinical practice in a way that is both medically appropriate and safe.
