13th Annual Radiology at the Seashore

Program Objectives:
This five-day course will provide a broad overview of selected imaging subjects of particular importance to radiologists in clinical/general practice. The course will also be of interest to physicians in related fields such as general medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, oncology, family practice, pulmonary medicine and orthopedics. A range of lecture and workshop topics will be presented with emphasis on practical applications. Topics will include, but not be limited to: breast imaging, neuroradiology, vascular imaging, MRI, CT, and imaging of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis and musculoskeletal system.

Target Audience:
Radiologists and physicians in related fields (general medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, oncology, family practice, pulmonary medicine and orthopedics).

Accreditation:

The University of Michigan Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Michigan Medical School designates this educational activity for a maximum of 26 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The American Osteopathic Association has approved this activity for 26 category 2A credits. Other credits by specialty may apply. Instruction hours have been determined for the following: Mammography (4.5 instruction hours).

Several lectures will be submitted for SAM qualification by the American Board of Radiology to meet the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification.
