New Braunfels, TX June 7, 2010 – SmartMed Apps, software developer for mobile phones, has just released a radiological mobile positioning guide for the iPhone. RadX Mobile is an intuitive application for finding diagnostic exam information in an electronic format without the hassles of traditional paper based reference guides.
At the touch of the screen, RadX Mobile will provide radiographers with a quick and easy way to navigate to desired exam information complete with detailed exam explanations and relevant exam variables, positioning and x-ray pictures, customizable technique chart, and a customizable note section for every exam.
RadX Mobile does not stop there. As the user defines the customizable technique fields within the individual exam pages, the provided information is compiled into a quick fetch technique portion of the app that allows the user to quickly review just techniques without navigating through the entire program.
Another exciting feature of RadX mobile is a portion of the app that allows the user to record and actually dial individual extensions throughout their facility. This is a separate contact list apart from the phones main contact list.
RadX mobile was released June 3rd and has over 100 positions currently available. SmartMed Apps advertises that with user feed back additional exams will be added according to demand from its users. RadX Mobile is currently available in Apple’s App Store. SmartMed Apps plan to release RadX Mobile in additional smart phone operating systems such as Android and Windows.
