Thanks to the generosity of Covidien, lucky applicants will receive FREE registration, travel and accommodation for ECR 2010, via the new Covidien-ESR Educational Grant. Application is possible from 08:00 CET, on Tuesday, February 16 and is open to radiologists and residents from Europe, Russia and CIS countries, and the Middle East, who are not already registered for ECR 2010.
The educational grant aims to support the harmonisation of radiological training by sharing the most recent advances and achievements in diagnostic imaging with a greater proportion of the radiological community, by enabling more healthcare professionals to attend and participate in the ECR.
Applicants must provide proof of qualifications (national board certificate) or, in the case of residents, a letter of recommendation from the head of the radiology department of their employer specifying the scientific need to participate at ECR 2010. In addition, applications must include a request for the educational grant, details of the applicant’s modality and area of interest (excluding MSCT of the heart and coronaries; mammography; MR of the brain) and a declaration of intention to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours to participation in scientific sessions or courses during ECR 2010.
Successful applicants will have their registration paid for, as well as travel costs (economy flights/train/parking place for those travelling by car) and accommodation expenses for the duration of the congress (maximum 4 star hotel, basic restaurant meals).
All applications will be considered, but the ESR reserves the right to ensure a geopolitical and demographic spread. The ESR also reserves the right to request further documentary proof, if deemed necessary.
