AUR Photography Contest - 1st Annual!

AUR is proud to announce the 1st Annual AUR Photography Contest, to highlight the photographic talents of our members. This contest will be conducted through the newly-built AUR Facebook fan page: http://bit.ly/AURfacebook

The winners in each of five categories will be selected by popular vote by Facebook fan page members—it could be you! We’d like you to “become a fan” of the AUR Facebook page now to participate in this contest and connect with the growing community.

The winning photos will be displayed at the AUR annual meeting, on the AUR Web site and may be used in future meeting brochures. Each winning photographer will receive a $100 prize. The winner can decide whether to accept a $100 gift card to Amazon.com, or to donate their prize to the AUR Research and Education Foundation or the American Red Cross.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE RULES BEFORE ENTERING:
Only AUR members, associate members and junior members (residents and students) are eligible to submit entries, between Jan 20 and Feb 28. One entry per member per category is allowed.

Log in, and press “Become a Fan”. Click on the “Events” tab. Click RSVP on the “1st Annual AUR Photography Contest” and then enter the event page.

You can post photos (one per member per category) or simply click "like" on others' photos to vote for them and comment on them. Press the "share" button on the event page to tell all your Facebook friends to join and vote.

Winners will be determined by votes. The photograph with the most votes in each category wins. You cannot vote for your own photo, but you can send a link to friends and ask them to vote for your picture. Only one photo submission per person per category. Inappropriate photos will be removed and disqualified from the contest. Staff are ineligible, but moderators are allowed to enter.

All content is public.
By submitting your photo, you certify that you own the copyright to the picture and that you agree to grant the AUR nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right and license to copy, reproduce, publish in any media, distribute, and display all submitted photos, images, and text. AUR reserves the right to alter pictures and edit text, and to remove any submissions at any time.
