RBMA is Pleased to Announce a New Sponsorship Agreement with AMICAS, Inc.

FAIRFAX, VA — May 28, 2009 — The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) recently entered into an agreement with AMICAS, Inc. to sponsor a keynote lecture series beginning in 2010 through 2012. This special program will bring a high-quality, well-known speaker to the Radiology Summit each year for three years.

According to a recent member needs assessment conducted by RBMA, members rate attending meetings and conferences as one of the top RBMA membership benefits. These educational events offer members valuable classroom education as well as peer-to-peer learning opportunities. As healthcare challenges have intensified, the need for accurate, pertinent, and timelier industry information has only increased. By accessing recognized leaders in healthcare, business, government and sectors outside of radiology, RBMA is seeking to expand members’ experiences and knowledge beyond the scope of their current radii.

To accomplish these goals, RBMA sought out a partner who is aligned with its mission; who shared the association’s vision for growth, sustenance and viability; and who was willing to develop a high-level educational keynote lecture series at the RBMA Radiology Summit.
