Wow, almost 300 members in only three months. We'd like to thank everyone for all their wonderful cases so far and their support, whether you have invited fellow colleagues, submitted a case, or simply dropped by! We have received so many kind words and compliments :) That really keeps the team excited here so we really appreciate it. In addition, your many suggestions have helped us improve the site; keep them coming.
For example, we have made the following improvements and updates:
** "Post to radRounds" button that allows for quick and easy posting to the community in order to start a discussion or simply to ask the community a question about a case or job or anything at all
** More promotions - we have done just that, we are now offering more $ for the Starbucks Card offer and free iPods. We have also partnered with Sprint / Nextel to offer 10% to all of you... Elsevier to offer you discounts on textbooks... Apple to offer you all free shipping on your next iPhone or other products... 10% off all CMEInfo products (including those UCSF review videos for all fellows/residents)... 25% off all Skyscape handheld software products
** Consulting projects: including those offered by radRounds or other of our industry partners; make some extra money; e-Moonlighting for residents/fellows
** Many new cool radiology cases, many courtesy of our own radRounds members! Thanks also to Ben of radsWiki.net for contributing the best of their best radiology cases and teaching file.
Coming soon:
** Advanced search of members by specialty, location, and more! We want to help you connect to those in your field or find long lost friends / colleagues
** Even more promotions: stay tuned for more book discounts
** Radiopaedia cases and case of the day
** More consulting projects
** Clinical tools
We are looking for your help, especially if you are interested in writing or helping to develop academic and teaching resources on this site. Look into joining our Academic Advisory Board. We are also recruiting residents and fellows to help become part of the radRounds In-Training Advisory Board (more details to follow).
Keep the cool and interesting cases coming. If you like the site, please invite your fellow colleagues and friends in radiology. As always, please let us know here how we can help you in your career goals, job search, and radiology education.
Best regards,
Your dedicated radRounds Team
