UCSF is pleased to present our workshop on Virtual Colonoscopy. This rapidly evolving technology will be explored in a program with individualized, hands-on workstation training and didactic instruction by Dr. Judy Yee, a leader in this imaging modality.
The program will be held in San Francisco and includes a Thursday afternoon workstation orientation, full-day on Friday and half-day on Saturday.
By the end of the course, the registrant will have reviewed at least 50 proven virtual colonoscopy cases (ABR approved).
Enrollment is limited to 18 registrants.
About the Course
This workshop will present, to both academic and practicing radiologists, the fundamentals and latest techniques of non-invasive colon cancer screening.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to discuss:
• Demonstrate a familiarity with other colon cancer screening methods
• Obtain optimal colonic distention and cleansing for a maximally diagnostic virtual colonoscopy
• Perform, interpret and report a virtual colonoscopy exam in a time-efficient manner
