MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This course is specifically designed for the radiologist in clinical practice. The goal of the course is to provide a review of a wide variety of different topics in radiology with a particular emphasis on CT, MRI and PET-CT. Specialists in thoracic imaging, abdominal radiology, neuroradiology, ultrasound and nuclear medicine will discuss important imaging indications and will present a practical based approach to reading clinical cases. A variety of emerging technologies and new clinical indications will be included, designed for radiologists wishing to expand their scope of practice.
EARN SAM CREDIT
An opportunity for completion of a Self-Assessment Module will also be offered. “Imaging of Pancreatic Tumors” (ABR # UCSS 030109-545) was approved on January 13, 2009, and is qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program. SAM credits are required for radiologists certified since 2002.
At the completion of this course, the attendee should be able to:
• Evaluate high resolution CT scans of the lungs using a practical findings based approach
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of PET-CT in oncologic imaging
• Better form practice guidelines related to contrast nephropathy and nephrogenic systemic fibrosis
• Utilize musculoskeletal MRI in the evaluation of sports injuries and tumors
• Improve understanding of the role of imaging in pancreatic tumors and colitis
• Be able to fully evaluate the findings of gynecologic emergencies and their pitfalls
• Describe the role and recent advances in MRI imaging of brain tumors and abnormalities of the spine
• Improve your understanding of benign and malignant disease of the adnexa and uterus

Disney's Contemporary Resort is an ultra-modern, lakeside Disney Deluxe Resort, made up of a towering A-frame high-rise building—the iconic Contemporary Tower—and complemented by one garden wing annex. The Resort, which houses 655 rooms, is conveniently located within walking distance of Magic Kingdom theme park.
The Contemporary Tower is home to most of the Resort's facilities, including Registration, Guest Services and the 4th floor Grand Canyon Concourse. This main hall houses two restaurants, various shops, the monorail station and a 90-foot ceramic mural created by Disney Legend, Mary Blair, celebrating the Grand Canyon and the Southwest.
