MEETING DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Radiology at the University of California San Francisco is proud to present its annual Resident Review course. This comprehensive radiology overview is targeted to residents and clinical fellows, as well as practicing radiologists interested in updating their working knowledge by covering all the major radiology subspecialties. The course is designed to include the breadth and depth of experience of a majority of UCSF Radiology’s esteemed faculty, who are renown for their clinical and academic expertise.

This review course highlights the fundamentals of the major organ systems and corresponding imaging modalities. Lecture content will focus on comparative analysis and key factors that promote accurate diagnosis by the radiologist in clinical practice. Formal didactic lectures will be combined with unknown case review sessions, in order to give the attendee a thorough review of radiology fundamentals and terminology, as well as exposure to a cross-section of topical and clinically relevant interesting cases.

Upon completion of this course, the attendee should be able to:
1. Discuss current concepts and recent advances in diagnostic radiology;
2. Differentiate the techniques of ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine;
