Description:
The use of film-screen imaging has gone from the overwhelming choice for hospitals and medical facilities in 1990’s in the United Sates to less than 4% utilization by these same facilities as of 2011. Training for the transition from film-screen radiography to digital imaging was often “on the job” as opposed to formal training.
This presentation provides the working radiographer information which debunks the myths of digital and provides a platform of information to expand imaging skills, be more efficient, and optimize their imaging techniques.
