Multimodality Imaging: PET/CT and SPECT/CT: Theory, Practice and Clinical Experience

Course Description:
The course provides technical, theoretical, and clinical information about the basic biologic needs for the combined functional and anatomical imaging offered by hybrid PET/CT and SPECT/CT, the emergence of these modalities, their specific clinical applications in diagnosis, evaluation of therapy and early detection of recurrence of malignant tumors and a glimpse about the emerging molecular imaging.
Course Objectives:
The objectives of the course are to make the audience familiar with the Clinical Needs, the Principles, the Methodology, the Normal Patterns and the step-wise Development of the Indications of PET/CT and SPECT/CT and to further familiarize the audience with the most frequent Abnormal Patterns specific to Body Regions and Tumor Identity.
Target Audience:
The target audience is Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine specialists and residents, who want to attend a complete and upgraded theoretical and practical review of the principles, techniques and clinical applications of the hybrid imaging PET/CT and SPECT/CT and to familiarize themselves with the normal and the abnormal studies as they developed in the last two decades.

The International Institute for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
DESIGNATION STATEMENT:

Registration
FEES:
The fee for Multimodality Imaging: PET/CT and SPECT/CT: Theory, Practice and Clinical Experience (Monday - Wednesday, September 5-7, 2011) is $895 for physicians if your registration is postmarked by August 5 2011. After that date, the fee is $950. For Residents, Fellows, Retired, and Military the fee is $795 or $850 if your registration is postmarked after August 5, 2011. For Technologists and Allied Health Prof the fee is $695 and $750 if your registration is postmarked after August 5, 2011. A letter of verification from the Department Chairman must accompany the application of anyone wishing to qualify for the reduced rate. Enrollment will be confirmed on the basis of registration fee. We do not process registration without payment. We cannot guarantee course materials on site for a registration received
after August 5, 2011.
REFUNDS:
Cancellations received in writing by August 5 2011, will receive a refund minus a $75 handling fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after that time.
REGISTRATION:
Registration will take place on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. in the foyer of the hotel.
