 ce and Clinical Experience\nSeptember 5 - 7\n\nCourse Description:\n\n
The course provides technical, theoretical, and clinical information a
bout the basic biologic needs for the combined functional and anatomic
al imaging offered by hybrid PET/CT and SPECT/CT, the emergence of the
se modalities, their specific clinical applications in diagnosis, eval
uation of therapy and early detection of recurrence of malignant tumor
s and a glimpse about the emerging molecular imaging.\n\nCourse Object
ives:\n\nThe objectives of the course are to make the audience familia
r with the Clinical Needs, the Principles, the Methodology, the Normal
Patterns and the step-wise Development of the Indications of PET/CT a

uent Abnormal Patterns specific to Body Regions and Tumor Identity.\n\
nTarget Audience:\n\nThe target audience is Radiologists and Nuclear M
edicine specialists and residents, who want to attend a complete and u
pgraded theoretical and practical review of the principles, techniques
and clinical applications of the hybrid imaging PET/CT and SPECT/CT a
nd to familiarize themselves with the normal and the abnormal studies
as they developed in the last two decades.\n\nACCREDITATION:\n\nThe In
ternational Institute for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. is accred
ited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (AC
