Event Description
This is a CPD-focused meeting designed to provide diagnostic radiology and
radiation protection physicists and interested radiographers with an update on
digital radiography (CR and DR) dosimetry, image quality measurement and an
understanding of what is required to optimise digital radiography procedures.
Educational aims:
1. To provide an update on relevant technological developments in digital
radiography
2. To provide an update on image quality measurement
3. To provide an update on measures of radiation dose
4. To explore the balance between image quality and dose in digital radiography
5. To provide attendees with practical advice for optimising imaging quality and
radiation dose
