Event Description

Musculoskeletal ultrasound is a reliable and accurate diagnostic tool for imaging neuro-musculoskeletal structures and pathology. It is a non-invasive and cost-effective diagnostic tool that can be used in the office. This 2 day course combines lecture with hands-on training to provide you with an excellent foundation for musculoskeletal ultrasound applications and interpretation.

Objectives

At the conclusion of the course, the participant will be able to:

  • Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound exams with standard protocols
  • Identify normal anatomy within upper and lower extremities
  • Identify pathology
  • Write reports
  • Annotate and store images

Target Audience

Physicians seeking entry level information in musculoskeletal ultrasound, scanning and interpretation. Also sonographers or health professionals learning musculoskeletal ultrasound.
