COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This comprehensive musculoskeletal imaging course is a 4-day program on the ski slopes that will provide up-to-date imaging information on all of the major joints, with a strong emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging.

OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Describe techniques that will optimize magnetic resonance imaging of the musculoskeletal system.
• Review hip and groin anatomy in order to more fully understand causes and imaging appearances of athletic pubalgia and hip pain.
• Describe knee anatomy, pre-and postoperative MR appearance of the menisci, cartilage and cruciate ligaments.
• Differentiate multiple pathologies using MRI of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, foot, ankle.
• Discuss the approach to spine and non-spine injections of the musculoskeletal system.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is designed for radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians interested in imaging of the musculoskeletal system, with an emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging.

The International Institute for Continuing Medical Education, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

FEES:
The fee for Musculoskeletal in the Mountains (Sunday through Wednesday, March 20 - 23, 2011) is $895 for physicians if your registration is postmarked by February 20, 2011. After that date, the fee is $950. For Residents, Fellows, Retired, and Military the fee is $795 or $850 if your registration is postmarked after February 20, 2011. For Technologists and Allied Health Prof the fee is $695 and $750 if your registration is postmarked after February 20, 2011. A letter of verification from the Department Chairman must accompany the application of anyone wishing to qualify for the reduced rate. Enrollment will be confirmed on the basis of registration fee. We do not process registration without payment. We cannot guarantee course materials on site for a registration received after February 20, 2011.
