Course Description
This course provides an intriguing review of leading edge, multi-modality imaging of breast cancer. Bringing together recognized world leaders in advanced breast cancer imaging, this conference is intended for Radiologists, Surgeons, Pathologists, Technologists, Sonographers and other professionals with special interest in breast cancer. This course provides opportunities for a lot of interaction with the experts.

• dentify the mammographic, MR and Ultrasound patterns of invasive and in situ breast cancer using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Discuss the changing roles of imaging for high-risk patients, as well as for the advanced diagnosis, MR-guided biopsy and staging of breast cancer.
• Describe the advantages of a multi-modality, intra-disciplinary approach to breast cancer.
• Evaluate MR-CAD, BSGI, Whole-body MR and Positron Emission Mammography (PEM).

ACCREDITATION
This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
through the joint sponsorship of The Institute for Medical
Studies and First Hill Diagnostic Imaging. The Institute
for Medical Studies is accredited by the ACCME to
provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT HOURS
The Institute for Medical Studies designates this
educational activity for a maximum of 21.25 AMA PRA
Category 1 Credits™. (Mammo Credits = 3.75 hours;
MR Credits = 11.25 hours; US Credits = 3.5 hours;
General = 2.75 hours) Physicians should only claim credit
commensurate with the extent of their participation in the
activity. Nurses may claim credit for activities approved for
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits in most states, for up to
50% of the nursing requirement for recertification. Category
1 AMA credit is also recognized by the AIUM, ASE and
SDMS. A maximum of 18.25 credits have been approved
by the ASRT for Category A continuing education credit.
