This new advanced modality course will move your MRI skills to the next plane in imaging. AHEC’s seasoned instructor will guide you through the essential aspects of obtaining an appropriate clinical history prior to patient imaging. Emphasis will be placed on sectional anatomy and imaging sequences used by today’s technologists in routine MRI procedures. There will also be information provided related to special protocols for pathology and disease processes such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. Final course topics will be related to the use and indications for contrast media in studies and artifacts found on images. So if you are new to the modality or a seasoned technologist, it’s time to fine-tune your skills in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
