Event Description

NYU's annual Fall MRI conference is designed for radiologists who order, perform and interpret MRI studies. This three day intensive review of magnetic resonance imaging principles and applications will cover three overall areas: Body Imaging (including Breast, Cardiac & Vascular), Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal MRI. The program will review the current use of advanced neuroimaging techniques such as perfusion and diffusion tensor, issues related to nephrogenic systemic fibrosis and the appropriate utilization of gadolinium contrast and advanced MR imaging techniques for the shoulder, knee, ankle and tendons. This course will provide a practical, clinicallyoriented review and analysis of the state-of-the-art of MRI in addition to introducing some of the promising new developments in the field. MRI Imaging protocols and techniques will be discussed in order to address a focused improvement
