Event Description

As a mammographer you have to compassionately deal with newly diagnosed patients. Mammographers can benefit from a patient navigator’s skills to provide exceptional care.

This eight hour class focuses on developing your skills, and will begin with professional and career language determination and communication skill building. Mammographers will benefit from the discussion of how to help guide significant others throughcoping mechanisms throughout their loved ones illness.  You will love the gold standard of  proper positioning techniques for breast cancer detection where Kenyia will throughly discuss the basics of positioning tricks and tips.  You'll gain a better understanding of your own and co-workers personalities to enable you to make workplace decisions based on the strengths of your department.  The day will close playing an enlightening game identifying your own personality traits based based on numbers!.
