Mammography: Full Circle
Come and join us as we take a full-circle tour of many informative and timely mammography topics. On our first stop we will have a review of the many artifacts associated with breast imaging, followed by a detailed look at breast pathology from both the radiographic and physical appearance. The mammography tour will continue on and circle a discussion of the male breast and current trends in breast cancer detection including tomosynthesis and breast specific gamma imaging. As we round the corner, we will investigate digital mammography, digital image processing algorithms and a historical tour of breast implants.
