Event Description

The 3-day Hands-on Introduction to emergency ultrasound program provides participants with a strong foundation to perform the core ultrasound applications as outlined in the ACEP ultrasound practice guidelines. This unique ultrasound training course incorporates comprehensive lectures, interactive case presentations using an audience response system, and extensive hands-on scanning, featuring a 3:1 ratio with live models and inanimate phantoms. Special break-out sessions are conducted for a review of ultrasound system knobology and optimization to improve the learners’ knowledge and competence to effectively adjust the system controls. This emergency ultrasound program also provides a log of 40+ supervised examinations to apply towards credentialing and/or certification requirements.
