Event Description
The Introduction to abdominal/primary care ultrasound hands-on only workshop is taught by leading vascular ultrasound experts. The scan only course is open to participants who have completed a previous live or online GCUS abdominal/primary care ultrasound course. The scanning is conducted during the afternoon and provides extensive hands-on scanning featuring a 3:1 ratio with live models and inanimate phantoms, for a realistic training experience.
The abdominal/primary care protocols are taught in accordance with AIUM and ACEP guidelines. The scanning only workshop provides additional skills training to begin integrating the techniques learned into clinical practice.
