MEETING DESCRIPTION:
While mammography remains the gold standard for widespread breast cancer screening, breast MRI has emerged as essential in staging cancers, planning treatment, screening high-risk and younger patients, evaluating breast implants, and characterizing masses. This course features lectures covering the fundamental techniques of MR mammography and teaches diagnosis and interpretation. It also helps physicians understand how MR best fits into the diagnostic algorithm for breast care.
