MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Course Objectives: At the completion of the program the participant should be able to:

1. Obtain a record of examinations performed to assist with hospital credentialing.
2. Improve proficiency with system optimization.
3. To increase knowledge and confidence to perform routine scan protocols for performing GYN ultrasound examinations.
4. Increase knowledge and confidence to perform and/or interpret GYN emergency medicine or GYN critical care ultrasound examinations.
5. Apply the information discussed in a clinical setting, under supervised conditions until an accepted level of proficiency has been achieved.

Course Topics:

- GYN ultrasound (optional ½ day session)

Schedule Summary

1 ½ day Emergency Medicine/Critical Care

Day One: 9 am – 5 pm (1-hour lunch on own)
Day Two: 8 am – 12 noon

Optional GYN ½ day: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Who Can Attend? Physicians, PAs, sonographers, and other medical professionals who have at least 6 months experience performing ultrasound examinations for emergency medicine and critical care applications.

Minimum Scans: Optional GYN ½-day participants will scan a minimum of 6 patient models.
