Description:
Essentials of Radiology: A Mayo Clinic Review is designed for practicing radiologists and upper-level residents who desire a comprehensive and concise review of diagnostic radiology and its subspecialty areas. The course emphasizes a practical approach to imaging that is applicable to radiologists throughout their careers.

The Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology has over 150 staff radiologists practicing in all radiologic subspecialties, performing over one million exams each year. This volume of cases coupled with the most modern imaging techniques has allowed the department to compile a vast image library. The course provides a complete review of radiologic techniques and differentials.

Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology experts will conduct a series of didactic lectures and dedicated unknown case review sessions. Individual laptop workstations will also be provided within the meeting space and are unique feature of this CME course. Participants will be able to view the lectures from the provided laptop computers during the presentations. This element of the course will bring the images directly to the participant, allowing for better visualization of even the most discrete findings.

An additional course feature will be online access to the course syllabus. Access to the course web page will be provided prior to the start of the course and will remain open following the course for further review and referencing of presentations.
