The Breast Course 2011

The Breast Course 2011 is now open for registration. Attend our flagship event and experience live cases, stimulating plenaries and hands-on workshops, while interactive with our world-renowned faculty of interdisciplinary experts. The Breast Course 2011 will be held at the Renaissance Polat hotel in Istanbul, Turkey on 3-6 April 2011.

General objectives
At the end of The Breast Course, the participant should be able to:
• Identify state-of-the-art advances in detection, intervention and therapy for breast cancer; and
• Integrate most recent practice guidelines for small, image detected breast cancer in his/her daily practice
• In particular, participants will be able to:
• Explain the major pathologies affecting the breast;
• Explain existing, novel and state-of-the-art breast imaging techniques;
• Describe appropriate procedures for stereotactic, U/S, or MRI guided minimally invasive breast biopsy;
• Describe surgical management approaches of breast cancer; and
• Explain current procedures in post-interventional chemotherapy, brachytherapy and radiotherapy.
