MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Clinical Rotations
40 hours of clinical observation (Monday-Friday) will give each student the opportunity to experience a wide array of exams, be tutored by CV professionals who provide insights, advice and help you get the most out of your training. Certificated of Completion awarded reflecting clinical hours completed. **No CE credit is awarded for clinical hours.

Clinical Prerequisites
Clinical Fellowship requires students to meet hospital and imaging center requirements. You will be advised in advance of your clinical assignment requirement for participation.
* A copy of professional certification and state licensure (if applicable)
* A letter of good health on student’s physician’s letterhead
* Current immunization records
* A copy of current CPR certification
* Professional Attire with lab coat

Clinical Fellowship
Clinical fellowship is conducted in Houston, Texas at local cardiac catherization and interventional radiology sites. Register early to communicate your preferences related to placement in a cardiac catherization and/or interventional radiology facility. It may be necessary for a student to change facility if their preference is related to both of the above listed cardiovascular facilities. Clinical rotations are based on a per week registration by the student. It is strongly recommended that student’s attendance in clinical rotations be for the full two weeks offered. Register early, there is a limited number of clinical sites available.

Due to the vast amount of information students must process; it is important to read over course materials and required and recommended text outside of the classroom setting. This allows the student to prepare to ask any questions related to the material of the course faculty.
