Event Description

Register early and save! Please register early and reserve your place by providing payment to avoid an additional $25 fee required for registrations given within two (2) weeks of the course.

The AIUM recommends that the cardiac outflow tracts be included on all 18-20 week anatomy scans. Fetal cardiac imaging can be the most challenging part of an OB anatomy scan. This one day course will increase your confidence level and scanning skills in obtaining the intricate detailed views of the fetal heart. The course begins with a short lecture reviewing fetal cardiac anatomy.

Participants will then be able to further their knowledge through live scanning with variety of models supervised by a faculty member. The hands on scan lab allows participants to practice obtaining the outflow tracts, 3 vessel tracheal view, aortic arch, ductus and more. This will improve your ability to recognize both normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy.

Scan with the experts

Sometimes it takes an additional day or two of scanning to generate confidence in your new skill set.  If you would like to add a day or two, all our ultrasound skills courses can be scheduled with additional scan days in our state of the art interactive scan lab.  Give us a call and discuss your needs with our faculty so we can help you achieve your goals.
