2012 Abdominal Radiology Course

The 2012 Abdominal Radiology Course will be held, March 25 – 30, 2012 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Abdominal Radiology Course is a joint presentation of the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists and the Society of Uroradiology. The course encompasses the full range of activities that constitute contemporary abdominal radiology including: all methods of diagnostic imaging and radiologic intervention, with emphasis on state-of-the-art utilization, performance and interpretation; new and innovative approaches to abdominal and pelvic pathology; major issues, and common problems in gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiology; and assessment of major abdominal pathology with sessions devoted to exploring the latest imaging techniques utilized in evaluation of the genitourinary and gastrointestinal systems.  

These topics will be addressed in didactic lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops. The extensive variety of small group workshops will enable participants to tailor their learning experience according to their individual needs. Both societies will also present their scientific paper and poster sessions, which are open to all registrants. Designed primarily for radiologists in practice and in training, this course will also benefit all physicians who care for patients with gastrointestinal and genitourinary disease.
