• Understand relevant brain and spine anatomy issues.
• Provide information on current imaging techniques and choosing the most appropriate studies for imaging the brain and spine.
• Discuss differential diagnoses of the brain and spine based on imaging characteristics of pathology.
Registration and hotel information will be here soon
This comprehensive course in brain and spine imaging is intended to give radiologists an in depth exposure to brain and spine anatomy, diagnoses, and important differential diagnoses.
The course is divided into a mix of didactic lectures on brain and spine imaging issues, protocols, and diseases, with special sessions on vital differential diagnoses. This will be reinforced with numerous interactive case reviews covering unknown brain and spine cases correlating with the didactic sessions. This time is designed to present the participant with hundreds of individual case examples of brain and spine lesions. Case presentations will be within a format with each individual case initially viewed as an unknown, maximizing the faculty-participant dynamic.
This course is specifically designed for brain and spine clinicians and general radiologists, as well as neuroradiologists, and specialized brain and spine neuroradiologists in both academic and non-academic environments.
This unique, intensive week long course allows an unprecedented experience for registrants to personally discuss individual cases with the authors of best selling and unmatched textbooks on brain and spine imaging. Participants will also have the opportunity to bring their own unknown cases for discussion with these brain and spine imaging experts.
Our goal with this conference, as with all the University of Utah Neuroradiology conferences, is to give the participants a wealth of practical knowledge that can be used immediately in their practice through the presentation and discussion of an exhaustive array of pathologies with a plethora of cases.
