Thyroid Shield for Mammogram?
Experts at UC San Diego Health Systems agree with the position stated by the American College of Radiology that there is no risk to the thyroid during a mammogram

Right after the Dr.Oz show,I had patients asking for a thyroid shield.Mis-information!

After the Dr Oz show last week;right away I had patients requesting thyroid shields.They have their mind made up .
Dr.Oz has caused more harm to patients because alot of them will decide if the thyroid is getting too much radiation then maybe they don't need their breasts getting it either and not get a mammogram.
Ignorance is the most dangerous thing
