Connecting Radiology | Enabling collaboration and professional development

In this video, Dee Faram and Kevin Cook demonstrate MetaNeb®, a therapeutic device that utilizes a systematic approach to enhance normal mucus clearance and resolve or prevent patchy atelectasis. Continuous High Frequency Oscillation mode is a pneumatic form of chest physiotherapy that delivers medicated aerosol while oscillating the airways with continuous pulses of positive pressure. In Continuous Positive Expiratory Pressure mode, MetaNeb® provides medicated aerosol combined with continuous positive pressure to assist in holding open and expanding the airways.
