January 28, 2008 SIIM announces educational efforts, new web pages James Brice -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine has expanded its educational efforts in imaging informatics, offering more resources to aid preparation for the American Board of Imaging Informatics certification examination for imaging informatics professionals. The launch in 2007 of the ABII IIP certification exam highlighted the need for educational resources and study materials for imaging informatics professionals and, more important, the need to build the body of knowledge for the emerging imaging informatics profession, according to SIIM spokesperson Caroline Wilson.
