10/30/2012, Nice, France - QUBYX Software Technologies Ltd., a display calibration solutions provider, and Shareden Group, Inc., a Healthcare IT consulting company, have announced that they will present QUBYX medical imaging products at the upcoming 2012 Radiological Society of North America annual meeting. The exhibits will include PerfectLum medical monitor calibration and QA software and the newly presented FDA approved medical display Dell U3011 & PerfectLum.

Dell UltraSharp U3011 is a 30-inch 4MP medical display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a typical brightness of 370 cd/m2 and IPS (in-plane switching) panel technology. The display is designed to provide more consistent colors, a brighter picture from different angles and brilliance across the color spectrum. With the bundled PerfectLum application, the Dell U3011 is delivered DICOM-calibrated, with the possibility of 10-bit hardware re-calibration, DICOM conformance and luminance checks, as well as acceptance and constancy tests. The display bundle has received the FDA 510 (k) clearance as a medical device.
The DICOM calibration and QA software PerfectLum 3.0 allows performing DICOM, Gamma and CIE L* calibrations, conformance tests, verification of white level, luminance level and display uniformity, and quality assurance tests in accordance with AAPM TG18, DIN 6868-57,DIN 6868-157, JESRA X-0093, IEC 62563-1 regulations. Such PerfectLum features as calibration of multiple displays, connected to one workstation, and remote management of multiple workstations from one location will be beneficial to networks of healthcare facilities and telemedicine.
