Infinitt launches advanced viz package By Greg Freiherr Web-PACS and IT developer Infinitt North America unveiled at RSNA 2008 a software tool that uses 3D and other postprocessing techniques to improve visualization and analysis of coronary vessels. The package, called Xelis Cardiac, is the latest to join the company’s family of software modules built for specialized processing. It includes a Vessel Analysis package that allows one-click auto vessel tracing, multiplanar and curved planar reconstructions, angio-emulation view, segmentation functions, automatic rib cage removal, stenosis and soft plaque analysis, and automatic calcium scoring.
