Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in imaging technologies, put its newest digital radiography system technically christened as Canon CXDI-60G Portable Flat Panel Detector on display, at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) 2008 Annual Meeting and Exposition, which was at the Colorado Convention Center.
The Canon CXDI-60G Portable Flat Panel Detector follows its successful predecessor the popular CXDI-31, also famous as world's first portable cassette-type Portable Digital Radiography System. The latest one in offering is a more portable and ergonomic form than its predecessor. It is very thin, lightweight, and latest. The CXDI-60G Portable Digital Radiography System offers unmatched flexibility for high quality Digital Radiography. If this is not enough there are many more benefits bundled with it which includes low power consumption, and sensor cable which can be easily detached making it more convenient to maintain and install. The model's unique detachable sensor cable is the source of power to the unit and data transfer. Hence this enables much easier room-to-room installation (of course it does come with the optional power box and Personal Computer) from different locations right from patient's wheelchair or his bed, ICU or Trauma Care and it almost fits into all sorts of neo-natal incubator trays.
