Emend's Healthcare Support Group is a special team of high level consultants at Emend IT Services. I started this group in 2000 to address a growing need by smaller imaging centers and hospitals that struggled with meeting the demands of their referring physicians. Emend began providing a unique service that allowed these organizations to take advantage of a special skill set that up until then required the hiring of several high level full time employees and managers. Today Emend still provides this service hospitals and imaging centers of all sizes allowing them to receive continuous coverage at a fraction of the cost staffing a technology department.

In 2006 I expanded Emend's list of services to include a special program designed to assist manufacturers of diagnostic imaging products with deploying their own products in a distressed situation. Emend’s RadRescue™ was welcomed with open arms by manufacturers who so often found that the success of their project hinged on the successful integration of their product with their competitor’s. RadRescue™ adopts a project management approach using PMP Certified project managers to evaluate all aspects of a new deployment including compatibility issues, hand-offs, and dependencies. RadRescue’s™ ability to review all system integration scopes ensures that Emend will work with every vendor at a client’s site to ensure the success of all vendors involved and eliminate the possibility that a hospital or imaging center would become trapped in the middle of a dispute between two vendors over a failed project.

Emend has offices in Los Angeles and New York. I am currently looking for imaging centers and small hospitals in those two areas who are looking to address their many challenges with IT.

I am also looking for manufacturer's of diagnostic imaging products that have been having a difficult time integrating their product at a client's location for compatibility reasons.

We provide our services on an hourly consulting basis, fixed bid, or monthly service contract. Clients preference.
