Additional description or bio about me:: Nephosity has built two products - MobileCT and JackImaging - to address the aforementioned issues. MobileCT (FDA cleared) is Nephosity’s patented medical image viewer for the iPad. As an emerging technology, MobileCT is differentiated in its cloud-based technology, high-resolution image viewing capability (streamed real-time), universalism (?) and ability to use a shared cursor or control annotations even when not in the same room. MobileCT allows physicians to review medical images remotely, solving the mobility issue. It further eliminates the speed and transfer issues associated with slow, often antiquated workstations.

Nephosity’s second product, Jack Imaging, is the cloud computing, integrated collaborative viewer for the iPad and browser (Mac, Windows, Android devices). Jack Imaging serves as the source and viewer for all patient images, increasing efficiency in provider workflow while eliminating the need for pesky CDs (and associated issues with corrupt or incompatible CD files). Jack Imaging empowers patients to take control of his/her health by a) uploading his/her images from a CD and b) sharing uploaded images with a provider. Greater patient engagement has been shown to improve health outcomes in patients. Greater control of medical imaging also reduces likelihood of duplicate imaging which not only taxes the payer, but also exposes the patient to increased (unnecessary) levels of radiation.
