General radiologist/neuroradiologist. Provided services for multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities including St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL, Red Bud Hospital, Red Bud, IL, and Signature Health Services, St. Louis, MO. Partner and corporate officer. Emphasis on interventional procedures, pain management, and Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology MRI interpretations in addition to general radiologist duties.

2009-5/2013 American Radiology Services, Inc. Baltimore, MD. Partner and Neuroradiologist. General Radiology, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology interpretations performed for multiple affiliated hospitals and American Radiology imaging centers. Subspecialty Neuroradiology CT/MRI and Musculoskeletal CT/MRI High field and Open interpretations performed for 9 imaging centers and 3 hospitals, including a Johns Hopkins affiliated teaching hospital, Howard County General. Covered neuroradiology and body CT at University of Kentucky between 5/2009 and 11/2010. As of 7/2010, my primary roll with the practice has been Neuroradiology CT/MRI and Musculoskeletal MRI/plain film interpretations.

2009-present Imaging Center at Wolf Creek, Swansea IL. Medical Director and Radiologist for independent Open MRI and Xray facility. Services provided included both adult and pediatric MRI and xray interpretations.

2010-present The Pain Institute, Swansea, Edwardsville, and Waterloo, IL offices. Neuroradiologist, Pain Management, Midlevel practioner oversite, and Medical Director of the three Interventional Pain Clinics. Perform image-guided pain management with emphasis on acute and chronic spine pain. Procedures include ultrasound and flouro-guided lumbar/cervical epidurals, facet blocks, selective nerve blocks, coccygeal blocks, pudendal blocks, piriformis injections, post-hernia repair blocks, joint/bursal injections/aspirations, lumbar radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and spinal cord stimulator trial lead placements. Oversite physician for one physician assistant, since 2010, and one certified nurse practioner, since 2012. Medical Staff appointments at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, IL and Physicians Surgical, Belleville, IL.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS____________________________________________________________________

Expertise in interpretation of both Open and Closed MRI cases in Neuro and Musculoskeletal Imaging. Last two years have read approximately 9000 Neuro and MSK MRI's/year. Pain management skills include spinal epidural, joint, coccyx, medial bundle branch, and sympathetic nerve blocks.

Prior to 12/2008, was heavily involved with hospital-based interventional procedures including CT-guided biopsies and drainages as well as Ultrasound-guided procedures including thyroid FNA's. General radiologist skills included MRI, CT, Ultrasound (including OB), Flouroscopy/plain film, and Mammography interpretation.

Experience with various PACS software including FUJI, AGFA, GE Dynamic Imaging, Sectra, McKesson, Horizon Medical Imaging, E-rad, and Merge E-Film. Voice recognition experience utilizing Dragon Medical and Speech Q.

Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified lab director, completed Feb. 2013.

Radiology Physicians of Mid-America, LLC, President, since 2011.

ACLS, recertified 3/2013.
