• Perform Mammography both Screening and Diagnostic plus procedures including assisting with Ductography, Biopsy and Needle Localization with <2% repeat rate and <5% call back rate.
• Perform Computed Tomography scans, X-ray imaging, Bone Densitometry, OR radiography, portable radiography and fluoroscopic procedures using minimum radiation and <1% repeat rate.
• Maintain MQSA regulations and QA/QC records, chart data for transparency and quality improvement efforts. Successfully passed state and federal inspections 3 straight years.
• Train new Mammography Technologists and assist in training new Radiologic technologists in facility protocols and procedures
• Mentor LVN students, Health Academy High School Students and Volunteers
• Create multimedia information including radio spots, brochures, Powerpoint Presentations, lectures, closed-circuit video presentations, banners, t-shirt designs and newsletter articles to assist in advertising and fundraising efforts.
• Collect research data
• Perform office duties including scheduling patients, tracking paperwork, with PACS and HIS/RIS and a variety of additional programs
• Serve a diverse caseload including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in a respectful and compassionate manner.
• Manage numerous procedures per shift, while maintaining high quality of care.
• Work professionally, graciously, and effectively with all facility personnel
• Hired after honorary completion of training as a student radiologic technologist, 8/06 to 7/08.
