I finally joined! I'm still working on making sure I accurately filled out the profile. This set up is pretty similiar to facebook but a bit more professional :) Anyway I like it! Thanks for sending me the invite.
Hey AJ,
Yeah I had just returned from India and was responding to my messages/emails assuming I had not replied to anyone forever. Did not realize that you had just written to me. Anyhow, I have been MGH fo rthe last couple years doing a research fellowship. Almost done and can't wait to just enjoy myself before starting the internship. Do you have any fun stuff planned for the next couple months?
My TY year is not the easiest one but not too too brutal as well. What about you?
Hey AJ, Thanks for the note and the effort to connect with us all.. Sorry I took forever to respond as I have been out of the country for the last couple weeks.. Anyhow, I really look forward to getting to know you more.. Seems like you are currently in South Dakota and headed to DE for TY year.. I am presently in Boston and will be continuing my TY year here as well....Please feel free to run any questions/ concerns regarding living in or moving to this area by me. Lets definitely keep in touch :) Take care and good luck, Pragya
Hey dude. You're gonna LOVE Boston. You definitely made the right choice, because the city truly rocks. If I were you I would look in the Arlington, MA area, because its by far the best combination of safety/affordability/commutability to MGH. MGH is right on the red line of the T, so you can get from Arlington to MGH in 25-30 minutes door to door.
MacNeal is kind of western-burbish Chicagoland, so we're probably going to enjoy the cushiness from Oak Park. We couldn't be more excited about the way things worked out! Stay in touch when you finally get around to looking for places in Beantown.
Hey - sorry I kept getting back to you so late with the texts. We had seven match into rads from my class. The places were MCW (me), UNMC (2), Oregon, Virginia, Maricopa-Phoenix, Mt. Sinai Miami. My TY year is at a place called St. Joe's in Ann Arbour, Michigan. Not Sanford, but at least its a TY. Hope you matched someplace you were excited about!! Glad this whole process is over - keep in touch. I'll just go ahead with a congrats - Im sure you ended up someplace amazing!
Hey man - thanks for the invite, this is a pretty cool site. Yeah, I'm ready for the match too. I'm not nervous, just indifferent at this point as long as I match somewhere. Hope everything is going well in Sioux Falls - don't work too hard these last few weeks!
