Extradural and paraspinal mass in patient with tuberculous discitis with resultant destruction of the disc and extension into the adjacent vertebral bodies. Subligamentous spread of disease is typical and evident on this image. Due to the local destruction there is resultant gibbus deformity of the thoracic spine. There is also spinal stenosis at the level in question by the extradural cold abcess. Tuberculous spondylitis is also called Pott’s disease of the spine
