A  2-year-old  boy  presented  with  fever,  and  a ‘brassy’ cough  for 3  days. On  physical  examination,  he  had inspiratory stridor. Laboratory  examination  was  essentially  normal. this is a case of croup .Note the
characteristic  subglottic  inverted  v  ‘steeple sign’ with loss of the normal shoulders.

Thank you Dr Niknejad for the presentation of Steeple Sign, we get it usually in Croup or subglottic spasm of the trachea in children.

Unilateral narrowing of the subglottic trachea is highly suggestive of subglottic hemangioma.
